Revised Opening Times during the Coronavirus Pandemic:
Monday to Friday 9.30am to 6pm.
This is an important notice to all our clients.
In line with Government advice on social distancing and in order to protect our staff to allow us to continue to provide emergency services when necessary we are having to instigate some very difficult changes to our practice procedures.
We cannot justify any routine appointments or non-urgent consultations face to face. Until further notice. If your animal is sick or injured please telephone the practice.
We ask for your understanding at this time. Receptionists will not be able to decide on the urgency of your case but a vet or registered veterinary nurse will get back to you.
We will have to contact some clients with appointments already booked to postpone those appointments. Similarly with many routine operations like neuterings.
This is a fast moving situation and we will be updating our website as frequently as possible.
It is likely that our telephone lines will be very busy today please be patient we will deal with all your concerns as quickly as possible.
For those people who we do need to see at the surgery please can we have only one person per animal and please. We will be trying to spread the cases so that we can maintain separation in our waiting room, you may be asked to wait in your vehicle until called.
We may need to examine your pet in a separate room away from you in order to keep the necessary separation from our front line staff.
These changes have come upon us very quickly and are completely without precedent.
We are all learning as we go please be patient with us, and be assured that these painful measures are intended to allow us to continue to care for sick and injured pets whilst looking after the health of our staff and their families, in line with the advice of the government and national veterinary organisations.
Please follow government advice, stay well and help us help you.
